Right next to the beach of Shëngjin, the picturesque town of Lezhë nestles on the coast in northwestern Albania. Lezhë is the capital and at the same time an important market place of the region of the same name (called Qark in Albania), and is currently enjoying increasing popularity, especially as a seaside resort. One of the most renowned hotels in the region is the Maritim Rafaelo Resort. Here you can expect the highest standards in terms of rooms, cuisine, service and all other amenities during your holiday on Shëngjin beach. Maritim Rafaelo Resort has 30,000 metres of private space that can accommodate up to 2,000 guests. The highly qualified and friendly team, who will assist you every day with great dedication and interest, guarantees genuine hospitality and comfort from the first to the last minute of your holiday.
Central location
Only about 50 km north of your accommodation is Tirana, the capital of Albania with an international airport. The most convenient way to reach the hotel from here is by car within approx. 30 minutes, free private parking is available directly at the accommodation. If you have not booked a shuttle or hotel transfer, you can also take a public bus from Tirana airport to Lezhë. These depart every hour and stop directly in the centre, where again a group van towards Shëngjin Beach is ready and waiting. Alternatively, you can travel from Kukës Airport (Zayed International Airport), which is about 123 km away, or take a bus from Durrës bus station.
Once you arrive at the hotel, the relaxation can begin. The accommodation's private beach, including beach bar and beach chairs, is only a 5-minute walk away. It is only 150 m to the public Shëngjin Beach and 3 km to Rana e Hedhun Beach. On both beaches you can enjoy water sports during your holiday in Albania. Albania, and especially the area around Shëngjin Beach, also has a lot to offer in terms of sightseeing. The first port of call is certainly the Skanderbeg Mausoleum in the city centre, about 7 km from the hotel. Here you can marvel at Skanderberg's resting place as well as explore ruins from ancient times around the St. Nicholas Church. Only a few metres further, the castle of Lezhë towers over the city and offers not only a great view, but also various excavations and ancient wall remains. Pure nature can be seen in Kune-Vain-Tale, a wetland reserve and bird watching area, about 30 minutes by car from the hotel.
